Meet Our Speakers

Deborah Westergaard Orthopaedic Surgeon

Spine & Joint Regenerative Interventional Pain Physician

Deborah Westergaard MD is double boarded in Interventional Pain Management and Anesthesiology in Texas with over 30 years of clinical experience. She evaluates pain as part of an integrated movement system, recognising that symptoms often originate from stabilising structures such as ligaments, fascia, and joint complexes rather than isolated anatomy. Her practice focuses on precise, biomechanics-informed diagnosis and image-guided regenerative treatments, particularly for the spine and major joints. She utilises platelet-rich plasma and bone marrow-derived biologics to support tissue function, relieve pain, and reduce unnecessary surgical intervention where appropriate. Dr Westergaard is committed to minimally invasive, evidence-based care that prioritises long-term mobility, structural preservation, and quality of life. She also maintains a strongly patient-centred approach, ensuring individuals feel heard and supported, and collaborates with surgical colleagues when operative care is required.

Meet the speaker

Jeannie Devereaux (PhD)

Regenerative Medicine Australia

Dr Jeannie is a PhD-qualified clinician and educator specialising in regenerative medicine, with a focus on platelet-rich plasma and biologic therapies across dermatology, musculoskeletal medicine, and hair disorders. With over 25 years of clinical and industry experience, she is recognised for her evidence-based approach to treatment design, particularly in relation to therapeutic dosing and tissue-specific regeneration. As a clinical trainer and founder of a regenerative medicine education platform, she has trained doctors internationally in advanced PRP applications, integrating diagnostics, biomechanics, and minimally invasive treatment strategies. Her work centres on translating complex science into practical, clinically relevant protocols that support long-term patient outcomes and functional restoration.
